    Default Wny choose alternative medicines???

People have practiced natural medicine for centuries. Before the advent of modern technology, doctors and their patients had to rely on natural techniques and herbal remedies to treat illnesses or heal injuries.

    Why should consider alternative medicine:

1.Many people turn to alternative medicine therapies for pain relief when traditional treatments fail to work.

2.No harmful side effects. Some Pharmaceutical Medicine has adverse side effects. So to minimize or reduce the effects many people use alternative medicines.

3.It is cost effective as well.

Herbs can ease some alcohol or drug withdrawal symptoms (from anxiety to insomnia) and help detoxify the body. They also may be used to reduce the addicted person's craving for alcohol and other drugs.

Especially helpful are herbs that influence the nervous system, gently encouraging a relaxed and sedated state. These include catnip, chamomile, peppermint, and skullcap, which can be used together as a tea. To replace mild depression with a state of calmness, St. John's wort is often prescribed.

For detoxification, several herbs contribute to cleansing the blood, including burdock root and echinacea (purple coneflower). Others such as milk thistle, which contains silymarin, support the liver -- the main toxin-filtering organ -- and may help prevent drug-induced damage to this organ.

Most alternative medicine practitioners will take the time to really “listen” to you and evaluate your symptoms. In the typical conventional medicine scenario, sometimes, all you’ll get is a quick appointment. I’ve had patients tell me, in some cases, their visits with their doctor were timed and lasted only 3 minutes!

For relaxing the body, drink herbal teas. Improvement of bodily functions depends on what people eat and drink, since the same relieves, stimulates and has a healing effect on the body.

Consume fresh fruits, vegetables and vitamins daily so that the body gets essential nutrients. Drink ginger tea since it is effective in the cure of nausea and heals the body naturally.

Those who wish to develop strong bones and healthy muscles may seek the help of a chiropractor.
Chiropractic is a method of treatment that manipulates the body structures, especially the spine to relieve low back pain or even headache or high blood pressure. The chiropractor shows people their pressure points.

I agree. I promote natural remedies because I believe they are more safe than Pharmaceutical Medicines. There are some meds that have extremely harmful side effects. And natural and organic alternative meds have more benefits. It's been used for centuries but was forgotten because people tend to want some quick, easy, cure and when we were provided with that instant cure we were fixated but we don't realize that being cured naturally is more permanent than being cured instantly by a drug. It's a great thing that now advancement in medicine science is actually trying to bring back and even innovate natural remedies.
