    Default How long does it take for Mu-opiod receptors to recover?

    does anyone know how long this can take? i was told years, any opinions? thank you

    2 years is the shortest time you have to wait.

    It's absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to know when receptors may fully recover. We're all different and the time it takes varies widley. My suggestion is to not worry about it, but instead work on your recovery and let the receptors tend to themselves. Not much you can do anyway except to NOT take any addictive substances and allow receptros to recover as soon as possible. It takes as long as it takes.

    does that mean i have to give up my morning coffee? im not on any meds or prescription drugs
