    Question cpap and headache

I have sleep apnea and use a cpap machine. I awaken in the night with an extremely bad headache and have for as long as I have used the machine although not as bad as before I got the cpap machine. I have 1) that I need to mix oxygen with the air that I breathe through the machine; 2) that I need at least 7 hours of sleep a night (never done it) and if I were to incorporate this my diabetes type II would become more manageable and I would have no headache and would feel much more rested during the day without the feeling that I need to nap during my work day. What is anyone else's experience with this procedure ?

I used cpap machines for years for sleep apnea. You just have to adjust the machine right and make sure there are no leaks on the mask. The headaches will go away if it's from the machine once you're using it correctly, otherwise it's misery every single night. I can't stand those things either though. God bless.
