Default Should I take two immediate-release pills of bupropion separately or together?

I recently switched from bupropion SR to an immediate-release one. The previous one was 150mg/pill taken once daily in the morning. The new one is 75 mg/pill which means I have to take two pills per day. The drug manual recommends taking it every morning and night but I'm afraid it may cause insomnia at night. Can I take two pills at the same time in the morning or should I obey the instructions from the manual? BTW right now I feel drowsy but it may be a reaction to changing drug brand.
