    Different people suffering from this disorder experience different symptoms. For some of them, most problems are caused by depression, for others, the main concern is manic symptoms. A person may also experience symptoms of both depression and mania can occur together as well, which is referred to as a mixed episode.

    Bipolarism causes a shift in mood, energy and behavior from the highs of mania on one extreme, to the low of depression on the other. My friend is suffering from Bipolarism. He is taking a stabilizing medication that minimizes the highs and lows of bipolar disorder.

    Common symptoms of Bipolarism are Depression, Agitation, Irritability, Anxiety, Insomnia, Distraction, and Racing Thoughts.

    Bipolar disorders are slightly bit complicated since some of its symptoms overlap with the symptoms of other disorders, it's usually co-morbid with depressive disorders, both may experience mania or hypo-mania and some major depressive episodes. Symptoms consists of Abnormal or irritable mood, grandiosity, inconsistent sleeping pattern, flight of ideas, distractibility, and many more.
