    According to RxList, G24 is

    Imprint Code: G24
    Drug/Strength/Manufacturer: Amitriptyline Hydrochloride 75mg - Zenith Goldline
    Description: Film Coated Tablet

I have not been able to confirm this anywhere else, so really it is only a possibility, as the pill color and shape are not listed in the above description.

Sorry I could not help you more.

Can you tell us a bit more - quite often there will be one little clue that helps piece it all together...

Was it prescribed for you? If so, was the prescription filled at a US pharmacy? Or did you get it online? Was it given to you? Did you find it? If so, where, how long ago? Could the pill be old? Is there anything in particular that makes you think it might be a benzodiazepine or an opiate? I know it sounds a bit nosey but that sort of info really helps.

it was given to me, one is about a half inch long and oval shaped, says G24 on it, that's pretty much it. robins egg blue i guess. most likely filled at a US pharmacy, unless it is over the counter, because i can't find it anywhere. was given to me today, so i think it's new.

So did the person who gave it to you have any idea what it was?

no, he thought it was xanax someone had given it to him and not told him what it was, only that he didn't want it, which was why i assumed it might be a benzo, but i knew it definately wasn't xanax because they're much smaller.
