    Default Help with pill# 771

My grandmother has a few of these pills and she does not know what they are and her pharmacist could not help her, does anyone know? The pill is white and round with 771 on one side and nothing on the other. Almost looks like an aspirin.

    THANKS!

It sounds exactly like Oxycontin (my husband has some) but I don't know what the dosage amount it is, since his pills aren't in the original bottle.

If it looks like aspirin, it probably is aspirin. According to one database, it is aspirin; but I can't verify it.

I don't know of any oxycodone or oxycodone combination that is imprinted with 771 or anything similar. These meds are well documented with unique imprints - manufacturer's mark and numbers.

KitKat, 771 is 325 mg acetaminophen, not aspirin. Sorry for my previous answer. I shouldn't rely on memory.

Since answering your post incorrectly , I've found the info in another database. So it's confirmed with two sources as 325 mg acetaminophen.
