Default I only have half a pill...It's white, has DAN.....

I only have half a pill but from what I can tell it's white, has DAN on one side and 55 on the other. Could someone please help me out on finding out what this pill is?? Thanks!

    It's oval shaped and thick.

I think it's a soma, muscle relaxer. The pill should read DAN on one side and 5512 on the other side.

The generic Soma's (carisoprodol) are round and only have the DAN imprint once.

Sounds like the pill was scored. If the pill is oval and the DAN imprint appears on one half, it makes sense that the DAN imprint would also appear on the other half. The 55 would appear on one side of the score and there are probably two other numbers on the other side of the score. So by making these assupmtions...

and this is only a guess...

there are two possibilities (both antibiotics containing trimethoprim).

    SULFAMETHOXAZOLE 800 MG /TRIMETHOPRIM 160 MG
Generic for Bactrim DS and Cotrim DS
Imprint Code DAN DAN / 5547
    Description white, oval, scored tablet
    Info at https://www.drugs.com/cdi/sulfametho...methoprim.html

    and

    TRIMETHOPRIM 100 MG
Imprint Code DAN DAN / 5571
    Description white, oval, scored tablet
    Info at https://www.drugs.com/cdi/trimethoprim.html

The most likely is the first (Sulfamethoxazole and Trimethoprim). It is quite a chunky pill and rounder at the ends. The second is thinner and more pointed at the ends (the same shape as the Head logo on Head tennis racquets).
