Default Largish, round, convex, white tablets with no markings whatsoever

We found these pills in an old weekday pill container. While they are almost certainly expired by now, and we wouldn't want to use them, I'm still curious about what they are.

They have no logo or markings whatsoever and they are not scored. As far as I can tell they have no taste, either.

It's all rather odd. Who manufactures a pill without markings?

One possibility we thought of was potassium chloride, but I can't find any examples here that don't have imprints.

Could be a vitamin or supplement of some type.

All Rx and OTC pills including Generics must have an imprint (in the US)
