Sorry SERAFINA, can't help you here. Watson pills are usually easy to ID but I can't find anything on either Watson 198 or Watson 298.

Could you please let us know what the pill Watson 298 pills were? They may be related to Watson 198 and may be easier to track them down that way.

    Any ideas Kirby?

    Sorry, Robo, but no ideas.

I searched all morning and most of this afternoon. Good thing I have a boring job with lots of free time.

    Nothing on either imprint.

Should be easy to find but obviously not. I've checked all my usual sources with no >>> even close.

I can call Watson Monday if we don't find anything by then.

    Thank you, Rick.

I am embarrassed and I apologize. For some reason this imprint was not 'turned upside down' in my mind when I was researching.

You are correct - Watson 861 is a blood pressure med.

From the package insert that you linked to:

20 mg lisinopril and 12.5 mg hydrochlorothiazide tablets: Light blue, round, unscored, flat-faced, beveled-edge tablets, debossed WATSON and 861 on the periphery of one side and plain on the other side

    Thanks again.
