Default Please identify - round, off white, M on front and a 3 on back

I have tried searching this pill for awhile, but have not been able to find a definitive answer. I must know what this is as soon as possible as I found it in my teenage sons bag!! He isn't prescribed any medication and it was in a clear bag, so there is not a label to go by...please help!!

The pill is kind of white, more of an off white color as it isn't the starch white I'd associate "white pills" with. It's round and about the small size of my pinky nail.
On the back it has a 3, and an M on the front that is a unique type of font, as it doesn't look like ANY M's I saw on other pills while looking it up. The M is NOT in a square, which most results looking up a white pill with an M and a 3 resulted in oxycodone but those had a square around the M. I also saw some suggested hydrocodone, OxyContin, etc. with all results, none of the pictures matched the pill I am trying to look up, all had something off when comparing it to them.

With all the mixed results I am finding it is hard to tell what exactly this pill is and I am really worried! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I need to make a correction to this, I mistakenly said 3 but it is a 5.
White round pill with a M (no square) and a 5 on the other side.

It does sound like a pain killer of some kind. Take it to a pharmacy and they'll be able to identify it for you quickly enough. No explanation will be necessary. They'll help you. If it is an opiate, then this is NOT good news and important enough to get a handle on things as quickly as possible.

    Good luck.

    Peace,
