It's probably something made by Novopharm for the Canadian market.

In order to identify the pill, I need more info.

    What shape?

    Scored?

If scored, is the 10 divided by the score - like 1|0?

    Thanks.

it would be canadian. Pill is pretty small and white, the N and the 10 are printed in a black, and there is no scoring, I thought maybe oxycocet???

The only pill I found that matches your description (no score, N on one side, 10 on the other side - both printed in black) is 10 mg NOVO-KETOROLAC:

    ACTIVE INGREDIENT Ketorolac TromethamineTablets
    THERAPEUTIC CLASS NSAID Analgesic

Check out the image at novopharm.com, and see if it matches your pill.
