    Default white oblong pill ... 500 >< and 4174

    The pill I need help with is a white oblong pill about the size of an asprin......

    one side of the pill has the imprint "500"
    on the other side of the pill there is a symbol that looks like two triangles pointed toward one another followed by the numbers : 4174

    any help would be apreciated

    White oblong tablet imprinted with the Ivax logo (an hourglass or bowtie symbol) 4174 on one side and 500 on the other side is 500 mg etodolac, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug.
