White oblong pill- cursive V 58-98 Can you tell me what this is, white oblong pill- cursive V 58-98. My daughter took this pill from someone at work that gave it to her for a toothache. She did not take it at that time and has forgot what it was. Leigh Best -

V 58-98, oblong, white. on Webmd it says its Trimethoprim-Sulfamethoxazole, this is an antibiotic (technicly 2 in 1 antibiotics), if the pill leaves powder on like ANYTHING it touches that would be it.
edit: also they always broke inside the cells when i worked at a pharm so it probably would be fairly soft/easy to break -
