Yes, you can have WD after only 5 1/2 months. It is hell, but hang in there and it WILL get better. Good luck to you, and hope and pray the cancer is all gone for good???

That's great 11 days should be on the home stretch if not through w/d any day now. Good job!

I, like you, had some surgery in May and was given Percocets. Didn't want to get addicted so careful not to even take every 4 hrs. Tried to always wait 6+ hours. I was smug and naive. So mostly only 5 msg at a time for only 3 mos and I'm going thru terrible withdrawal. I stopped week ago today and after first couple days thought I was over the worst. Then the RLS and sensitive painful skin to touch comes roaring back. No energy. Unloading groceries I need to rest in between! How could only 3 months cause all this? Then I can't sleep at night so the next day is brutal. I'm working (office job) but it's hard. Nobody knows because I feel so stupid. Only taking what doc ordered after all. Now I'm going thru withdrawal ? Expect to feel better and then relapse a couple times. Good luck with your cancer. I had foot (bunion) surgery and still having pain from that. Should have never done it. But you had no choice. This withdrawal is something I thought I'd never know!
