    Default is xanax addictive?

Is Xanax addictive? If it is, is there another drug that's a little less stronger that I can use? Thanks.

Yes. It is very addictive. I'm not big on benzos, but I'm sure someone will stop by later and give you some alternatives.

    Welcome!

Xanax is on of the most addicitve of all the available benzo's. Here is a complete list of all benzo's available from this Drugs.com site. Here's the link....

    https://www.drugs.com/drug-class/benzodiazepines.html

The most common of the benzo's in order of the strongest are:

    1. Xanax
    2. Klonopin
    3. Valium
    4. Ativan

Hope this helps. Just be very very careful and you should be fine.

Yes. Xanax can be very addictive. I found much more stable results for anxiety or panic with Klonopin. Xanax rapidly progressed to addictive behaviors in me, probably due to the its short, intense action. Taking Klonopin, I found similar, albeit not as rapid relief from panic attacks.

However, I frequently forgot to take the Klonopin due to its long action. Xanax was crazy tho. I was never sure if I was taking it for panic or withdrawal from Xanax.
